“Rise of the Star” is an album of arranged music from the old Nintendo game Kirby’s Adventure. The musicians who created it met and collaborated through OverClocked ReMix. I got onboard to design the cover and insert for the album case. I created it all from scratch in Photoshop.

From what I hear the OC Remix forums are quiet these days, because everybody talks on Facebook. But when this album came out in 2005, the site was a thriving scene with thousands of active members conversing and exchanging music. That was back when people still wanted to burn a CD-R and print out an album cover. Before the dark times. Before the Empire.
